    Attached Images Attached Images

One of our colorful flycatcher species usually found in well wooded areas.
This was made in the Western Ghats with a Canon 550D (Borrowed) + Sigma 150-500 on a beanbag placed on top of a tripod.
    Exif : F6.3 / ISO 800 / SS 1/60 @ 500mm. Manual / Eval
Cropped from horizontal / levels / USM & NR on BG. The reflection on the belly is from the water below.

    Comments & critiques most welcome.

Lovely bird, nice pose and gorgeous background. I find the reflection a little distracting from an otherwise handsome shot.

superb shot, loved everything except that the reflection is too bright you could selectively darken it a bit for a better image :)

I agree that the reflection takes from a very nice image.

Agree with above ...the perch appears sawn at the end. Detail , colour and background are superb.

Too bad about the reflection on the plumage as otherwise you have a very nice image with good colours, BG, pose, comp.

Great pose, nice perch, and great background.
