the thorn in front is really placed in such a way i would be afraid, it nearly goes inside the feathers,

Another lovely Blue throat. I love the pose and the background - perfect.
I think I would be tempted to ease back slightly on the sharpening - just personal taste.

Wonderful image of handsome blue throat.Very nice pose ,appropriate perch along with superb BG,beautiful colors and composition..
It is migratory bird for us,visits here from Oct to March. However blue throat is not as blue as here. Love the frame.
