    This bird is Endemic to Sri Lanka and is the national bird of the country. Very shy but could be heard because of it's loud crow. Taken at Minneriya wild life park.

    7D 600mm F4 at F4 1/640 ISO640 Bean bag from Vehicle. Cropped, few blades of grass removed from the side and behind the comb. Shadow/highlights and levels adjusted, NR In Bg a light NR and Sharpening of the bird.

    Magnificent image. Beautiful colors and details.Sharp where it needed.Wish you could have used f8 valve or more.

    Nice one, its very difficult getting any Junglefowl
    This one is good, i understand that you have used a lower f value as the bird is on the ground and the BG would have been different
    i think you can get some more details out of the black and the blue ,
    I can see what its eating here

    Now that could not have been an easy bird to photograph! Love how much detail you got in the bird's head and neck. I think you did well considering you were shooting from the car and obviously limited in your movement.

    Love it, great colours and pose, nice natural feel to it. What awesome spurs, no wonder they damage each other so much when they fight
