Hi Gerhard, nice to have another sth Aussie on the forum, and myself I am, currently cruising the lovely River Murray on a houseboat out of Renmark.

Great picture of our local Honeyeaters, very sharp detail and lovely posture, liking his slightly spread tail feathers, creamy smooth backdrop, and exposure on both blacks and whites looks well handled. Really cant see anything much to improve uponwith this image, looks exta good......but I am currently viewing on my laptop onboard the boat while I'm withing internet range so I may miss something

Hi Gerhard, Very nice shot of a relatively common Oz bird. I agree with Phil, not much more you could want from this, maybe a bit of local sharpening on the body..? Lovely background.. DON

It might be relatively common in Oz (as mentioned above) but not in the UK so great to see, thanks.

Lovely bird and colors. Nice details. I would consider cropping like this to minimize the effects of the various perches and to take your bird out of the center.

Perhaps a bit tightly cropped but it does improve the image.
