Captured this beautiful spoonbill on my last outing with The cap'n James and the gang. I was pretty excited to get some bathing shots in nice light. I like how this image shows the birds ear that I don't normally notice.

Your exposure has brought out the colors just right, excellent shooting angle, the reflection works really well.

You have nailed it pretty nice in here, the low shooting angle is fantastic and the IQ is fantastic
the colours are a big plus and enhanced by a wonderful colourful reflection.

Nice work Cheryl. IQ looks great on the feathers but maybe a touch weak around the head and water droplets. Did you use the 2x III ?

Cheryl, beautiful bathing shot of a spoonbill in sweet light. Love the action with the water droplet and waves. Nice colors on the bird. Sharp eye and, yes, the ear. Love it. I'm looking with my iPad, so not sure whether the details on the head would show more on a big monitor.

Awesome colors and beautifully exposed Cheryl, I love the reflection on the water as well as the water droplets. Subject is pin sharp, composition is faultless. Magic!

Super bathing image and I esp love those large splashes, the light and the positioning of the wings. I would crop from the left a tad. It feels a bit too elongated to me.

I saw this on my ipad and wanted to see it on my good monitor. It pops off the screen with action and vibrance. Love it, Cheryl, and I think that the composition of the repost is perfect. (Marina nails it again!)
