Chestnut Headed Bee eater
Last Time around i posted one which really had a huge perch, so went back to the place and tried to catch it on a better perch, there was no way of putting my own perch here as it was near nesting area and altering anything there is something i wont do, so tried to track the incoming movement where the bird sat on 3 different places before entering the nest.

This is stunning. Great subject, prey, perch, and background. I think you used good field technique by observing the bird's behavior and obtaining your envisioned image. Good judgement was rewarded. The only very small thing that I might consider is buring the bird's pupil a bit. If this was my image, I would print it, I like it so much.

Striking bird, beautiful colours, nice pose and great to have a prey in the beak, Vishal. Nice background too.

Wow, what a beautiful image! Love the prey in it's mouth. Bonus points for that alone! I agree with Grace. Your patience paid off big time, and I'd print it too if it was mine.

Stunningly beautiful. The soft, shaded light you captured this in makes it for me alone, but then there's the added bonuses of prey in the beak, awesome detail in the subject, sharpness, DOF and BKG!! Just a super shot. Love it.

I am not much good at eye work and sometimes even petrified to touch it thinking that i may spoil it, here i have tried to burn it a bit hope this looks ok

Hi Vishal, This is a very good image from the detail on the bird to the insect he is having in the beak. Like the flat Bg and the different shades of green and blue.

This is a killer image, and glad to hear you returned and tried again. I would personally like to see a bit less space on top and more on the bottom if you have it. If you wanted to get more of the tail sharp next time, you could easily forego some speed for more DOF.
