The eagles at Conowingo were horsing around, as they are wont to do, challenging each other whenever one came up with a fish. This is one of the protagonists. Unfortunately, all of the interaction happened well out of range and I never got a presentable shot of two in one frame (unlike all those magnificent images from Haines earlier this year). See next pane for the obvious solution.

Failing to get both in one frame, I couldn't resist combining these two images from a few minutes apart. I guess I need to go to Haines.

Great BIF shot, Bill. I really like the two combined together, it tells the story.

Great PP work Bill. Both eagles are well lit with good detail.

Love the composite, Bill. Why didn't you just post that one. Your OP is a tad too tight on the top for me.

very cool, I like the topside view and the expression of "focus" in the eagles eyes emphasized by the HA.

Composite is nice too, but I think it's best suited for OOTB forum

    Wonderful shot.
I like the feather detail of its back, nice head angle, and exposed very well.
A tad more room above would be nice.
    Well done.

Also great job on the composite.

Thanks everyone. Marina, I think Arash is right that the composite rightly belongs in OOTB. I figured I could sneak it in here if it was just a supplement to the OP. Hope I'm not in trouble.
