    nice image with good action pictured.
    IMO, the reflection does not add much to the image.....a horizontal frame of "incoming" may work better.
    Also there is a lot of good detail still in the shadows

    the subject is nice and sharp with an excellent angle......thanks for sharing it

    Excellent critique Dave. Only thing I might add is that the peach colored stuff at the top makes the horizon appear rotated.

    I agree cropping off the lower half makes for a stronger image. The dark circles along the top and ULC need to be cleaned up. Did it touch the water where the ripple is coming from?

    Like the action and agree with the comments already made - tried to work them into my edit. Wish the sun would have been at your back, adding a catchlight to the eye and avoiding the shadows.

    Great action and positioning, I really like the still water and the timing. Repost is much better in my eyes.
