    Shot on Saturday May 18th, before we were forced to remove our cars from the parking lot so Nassau County could resurface the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy. 1DsIII and 400L 5.6 handheld. F5.6 --

    Nice comp and the prey item is a nice element to have here. Tough lighting resulting in very high contrast as you have both hot whites and blocked blacks. Perhaps you could deal with those during raw conversion...

    What were the techs on this frame? (SS, aperture, ISO...)

    Nice flight pose and seeing the fish is always a plus. There are some issues going on with this image as mentioned by Daniel above. Also seeing a halo around much of the bird and very little details. It would be helpful if you would share your techs when posting images so we could better help you.
