    I'm still working through images from the December 2012 Shoot The Light Falkland Islands workshop.
    Watching the gentoos come in from the surf was definitely one of the highlights of the trip for me.

    Mike:

    I remember your previous shot from this series, thought it was very strong. This one is nice as well, not quite as dramatic without the pounding surf.

    I like the raised tail, well exposed, nice comp.

    Nice work on this one. I like the exposure, detail and the water splashing up. Great pose with the tail raised. Well done

    Impressive image, the pose is amazingly captured, the freeze of the water splashing adds a lot of interest around
    The details and exposure look amazing and spot on, i love this one

    Hi Mike, I like this lots. Very well exposed - was the light overcast? Well placed in the frame, and I like the flying water up his chest, together with 'cocked' tail.

    Another beauty, Mike. I love the almost b&w feeling to everything except the "lipstick". Water splash adds interest. Nice comp too.
