    Default EB Forsythe NWR

Has anyone been to Forsythe since it was re-opened (closed by Hurricane Sandy)? I'll be there on and off next week (I have work to do on a NJ property nearby).

For those that are interested ...

I went to Forsythe several days last week while I was in NJ. The Refuge is open again every day dawn to dusk and the birds are plentiful.

If you've never been to Forsythe, it's a wonderful place (and it is an easy hour or so drive from there to Barnegat Jetty). As with Bosque, an annual National Park Pass will cover admission if you don't want to pay the daily $4 entry fee.

Whoops, guess I'm a little late on this reply, but I've been there a couple times since the Re-opening Some nice Osprey action and some nesting Oyster Catchers. In addition, I'm seeing lots of great posts from my Flickr contacts.
