Night Heron portrait
Hello, this Black-crowned Night Heron was nice enough to pose for the camera. The soft filtered sunlight was just right for capturing the nuances of this bird, which is one of my favorites.

Nice, consider a small crop from the bottom - the perch is a bit dominate. Thanks for sharing and remember we are going to Bosque this year!!!!

Handsome portrait of a favorite bird. I would agree with removing a smidge from the bottom.
Stay longer in Bosque ... I can't be there until Dec. 8 this year.
Very fine detail and color on the bird makes this a very fine photograph.
