Nothing flashy here. I just like the leg position and the intensity of the stare.

    Interesting hunting pose you captured.
    Great IQ and well composed.
To me, it really needs a bit more eye contact.
Still a nice fun interesting shot.
    Well done.

Hi Gail, certainly an interesting pose, and I do like the left leg stance. Good to see the small waves coming in, and comp wise, I would add a bit to the bottom and RHS. Im surprised you didnt achieve more DOF at F/8.0. Maybe too close.

This is one of those images I cannot take my eyes of...Bird-in-action, that is! You have captured beautifully the concentration, the focus of the subject! Colors are great! Great processing, sharp subject and lovely soft BG...

    Kind regards

The pose is awesome I just wish you had a better HA. The angle you have just makes it for me since the eye is visible

I have to say the oof foot and head angle do distract from a nice pose.
I like the waves and the setting.

Hi Gail, I Like the leaning intense hunting pose. Talk about focused. I do have an issue with the OOF foot though, takes away from a great pose and scene. Not a deal breaker, just not ideal. Your usual great techs. Well done.
