    Default Wet White Breasted Nuthatch

This was taken on one of those days that it is sunny then all of the sudden starts raining for about 5 minutes and clears up...just enough to get the birds soaked, and this one puffed up like a puffer fish. LOL

Cute! Great catch of that pose -- they don't sit still. I love the detail in the bird but wish there were less in the tree to compete with the bird. Maybe I'd try reducing contrast on the tree, maybe even some slight blurring -- very subtly. Or even lightening it a little.

    This is very nice.
I really like the color and light in the BG.
Like the wet feathers and the classic nuthatch pose.
A bit more of a head turn towards you would be nice.
I like the little bit of green on the tree and the texture.
I like your composition but could see a version with a bit more on top and bottom for a more vertical fee,

There is something about this image that makes it extremely pleasing to my eyes-it could be the equilibrium you have achieved with the crop, the subject's beak pointing so sharply to the other side (almost upturned but not quite), the cheerful mood promoted by the greens on the bark or maybe the silvery/blueish tinge on the wings-I am not sure, perhaps a combination of all four, all I can say is I am tempted to view this over and over again!

    Kind regards

I like the pose and the detail here. I feel the image may be a little over sharpened and tight framed for me.

I always like these guys in this pose.
IQ is nice, just a bit more of a head turn for me.
I think you also sharpened the tree along with the bird.
I would have left the tree a bit less sharp so as not to dominate the image.

Thank you everyone for the C+C!

Sorry it took so long to reply, my computer finally gave out, been trying to rebuild it...again...I have rebuilt it so many times it is hopeless...I guess its time to move on!

Will be a little while before I can post anymore pictures, I am using my daughters laptop but cannot do any PP on it, just to small for my old eyes! LOL Plus it is no where near what I need to do PP, especially the screen, so will be looking, reading and learning and as always enjoying the pictures!

Thanks again for the great C+C!
