Never expected such a gorgeous image after such a funny title. SH,BKGR, and pose are all killer in my book. Displaying, stretching, or just finished defecating?

    Thanks Jack,
I never have VR off, I don't own a tripod that supports my lens, I always handhold.
    Arthur,

    Dan,

Thank you. This is great, gives me hope that there is something unique out there. Did he grab some nest material while he was there?

I am very taken with this image and I really apreciate your sense of humor! Interesting looking perch, and the subject's pose just fantastic! I would not change anything here, the crop is great and the bird stands out so well against that lovely background. Superb!

    Kind regards

Very funny Dan. Besides a great caption, its a great shot with tons of detail and details to look at. The fluffy perch, the pose and the smooth green BG make for a very fun and pleasing image. Nice 1!!

Thanks all, I wondered how the title would go over?
Laurie, yes to the nest building, have nice shots of the wrens grabbing the cat tails and grass, etc.
    Fun little birds to observe.

Nice and sharp, Dan. Looks like it just landed and is getting its balance. Great isolation form the rest of the cattails. Fine job.l

The personality you captured is fantastic. I agree with all the compliments this fine image has received.
I could envision a slightly "smaller in the frame" version, but as with most great images, there is usually
room for different versions of the same shot....
