    Default Dusky Grasswren

    April, Ormiston Gorge (NT).
    One of our skulking, shy grasswren species which inhabit rough, dry, spinifex escarpments in the interior of Australia.
    D800, 300 2.8, 1.7TC, f7.1, 1/500, ISO2000.

    Lovely shot, Greg, nice pose and perch. From a composition pointof view, I would have moved the bird about 10 mm to the left in the frame.

    Interesting looking bird with that unique plumage. Nice pose and love the colors of the rocks and how they match the bird. Agree on moving the bird a tad to the left of the frame.
