    Great Egret with the beautiful green lore they get during mating season. When looking at the metadata for this image I saw it was created with the much maligned 7D at ISO 400 I still think this camera has a bad rep do to its unforgiving nature as it needs a properly exposed RAW file to get best IQ from it along with the proper post processing.

    7D, 500 f/400, 1/1000 at f/5.6, Manual Mode, Evaluative Metered, ISO 400, Tripod

    Hi Don,
    Very nice image. I like the detail throughout the whites with very good DOF. Love the green lore as you mentioned.

    Attractive close up Don, the color is great!
    A bit more room though would look nice for me.

    Nice detail on Whites, would like to see more space in front of Egret. IQ excellent.
