    Nickerson Beach w/ 1DsIII & 400L 5.6 - iso400 - F5.6 - 1/2000 - handheld.

    Frank,

    Overall, I like the exposure, saturation, and contrast in the image. The inclusion of the shadow is a plus!

    I think it's a bit soft (large crop or maybe lack of sharpening in post?) and I could see a version with a bit more room on the right (and maybe a sliver on the left).

    HI Frank, Nice pose and the shadow is a nice bonus as posted the image is a little small I would love to see it reposted at the 1200 pixels limit so i can better judge the quality of the image

    Frank, The larger image is a big help on my monitor the image needs to be sharpen more and I am seeing what appears to be noise on the underside of the wings so I am wondering if you did some work on them. I pulled this into PS and did a round of sharpening on the bird only and I small amount of tonal contrast

    Don, after closer inspection I noticed the noise under the wing and the tonal contrast was a help. Thank you very much.
