    Ian,

These guys are pretty rare around here, so it's nice to see a capture of a pair of them.

The bg colors and texture really compliment the feathers. I only wish for some separation between the two, but I enjoy the ibis on the left quite a bit!

Thanks, Miguel. I have a few of images of them separated, but the composition didn't work as well for me as this one. I posted an image of a single one in ETL a few days ago.

Hi Ian, exquisite light, and I do like your low angle of capture. Both Ibis's are in focus, colours stand out nicely, and the flying droplets from the near Ibis adds that something extra.

    Very nice Ian.
I think it needs a bit of CW rotation as judged by the ripples.
You had great light and the iridescence shows really well. Excellent DOF.
I am OK with the 2 birds overlapping.
The perfect shot would just have water as the BG but still lovely as is.
I might clone out the band of blue behind and below the left birds' tail.
    Well done,
    Gail

Neat pairing, and I too am OK with the juxtaposition here. Great colours and quality of light. Details look good, I especially like the texture on the necks. A lower angle would have helped with the BG IMO. The reflection being cut right at the eye is kinda awkward...do you have a bit more room down there? I like the left bird's pose, but I am thinking you may have needed to bring up the darks on the wing judging by the noise there.
