    The beak must grow fast -- don't see how that one would have fit in an egg.

    Ian, nice and sharp image. Like the low shooing angle and the reflection. Looks like you had side lighting, which is tricky. The eye is a bit dark, I'd suggest to brighten it a little bit.

    This is very nice Ian. Sharp and great warm light. However, as Loi mentioned, the sidelight is causing some issues. If the bird had its head turned a little CW to catch the light coming from the left it would have worked. As it is the face, which is where the eye is drawn, is in the shade. Anyway, it would be easy to lighten-up that part and reduce the "issue".

    It could be my PC monitor at work, but I'm seeing a bit of chromatic aberration in the photo? Other than that, it's a very nice photo!

    What a cute little thing! The lighting issue was already covered, but just wanted to say I like it none the less. :)
