In the rice fields of Thailand.
This is another bird that is very common here in the rice fields.
I personally love the plumage on these guys. Extremely small birds.
These and the Chestnut Munia were my targets here the last day or so.

BTW, this is a white-rumped munia. As the name indicates, Scaly-breasted munias have scales on the breast
and their backs are reddish brown in color.

Thanks for the catch on the name. I knew that but was not thinking? I was thinking of the Scaly when I posted this on my flickr site.
Am headed out tomorrow to try to get the scaley. I have a open shot of it. But want a close up.
