    I like the "screaming" pose, composition, background. This species looks like it has a wonder array of colours...too bad you did not have a better light angle to put these more into evidence.

    Looks like your first picture post in Avian..welcome!

    Great colors and BG. I like the pose too and nice detail on the head. A little more dof on the bird would have brought the image up a few notches for me.

    Welcome to BPN, Jose. What a terrific first pose of a bird I have never seen. Love that calling pose and the bird's very unique head. You had a tough light angle here with the whites pretty hot on the bird's back. This would have been an even more powerful picture had you been able to capture it with the light coming over your shoulder at the bird. Your background (BG) here is really stunning.

    Given that the light angle mostly affects the shoulder adversely, I'm wondering how you'd feel about turning this into a vertical by trimming from the sides? Quite a terrifying looking bird, well set off by that beautiful background.
