No one dares to give the kestrel a speeding ticket.

Another beauty, Arash. I love the backgroud's colors, adds a nice touch. Are kestrals approachable where you live? I have difficulty getting close to them here on Long island.

Pretty nifty kestrel in flight image! I like the bit of motion blur on the wing tips, and the BG is rocking. These guys are very flighty (wary) up here too...

Great flight shot. I haven't seen this species for a long time. Great to have access to them. Love the sharpness details and HA.

Absolutely marvelous flight shot. Wonderful lights, great IQ,sharpness, superb HA and beautiful colors.
Love the 3D effect caused by wing position and fanned tail. Lovely composition too.

    Hi Grace,
in general they cannot be approached most of the time but once in every moon, they totally ignore you. I got lucky this fellow was cooperative but I still had to use a long focal length. Kestrel is one bird that really needs a 600mm in this areas
