I wanted a soft, baby-look and added layers in varying opacities and selected areas and tweaked with PS stuff: Pixel Bender, Fractalius/glow, Topaz buz sim, Nik glamour glow, Topaz portrait smooth.

Lovely! I love the way this photo looks. The foal has a calm expression, beautiful markings, and a lovely shaped head (I know nothing about horses). I like the was the foal is nestled by the soft and tall grasses. The dark at the top of the image forces my eye down to the foal. Beautiful work.

Nancy, what a cute baby! He's got unusual markings - is he a paint or app? The processing is perfect

Very pretty scene and baby foal. It is an exceptionally pretty little one, and the feel of the image is so serene and calm. That's a formidable list of filters, which work very well together. Very nice.

Thanks all! This was such a beautiful foal that I just had to stop and take pictures. This is a Paint and for as many years as I can remember (over 20) Paints have grazed in this field. I always look forward to seeing the "Painted Ponies" when I drive in that area.

Hi Nancy, I really like the effect the treatment has had on the foreground grass and on the foal's face as well.

What a beautiful foal! It looks so serene, almost ethereal. Good work with the processing.
