    Default Dusk and Trees

    Hi all,

I've admired the magnificent posings in OOTB for a long time, and finally decided to post something.

Zoom blur of trees against the rosy sky just after sunset using 7D and 100-400. 1/5s, f5.6, ISO400. No crop.

    C&C welcome and appreciated!

I really like that warm rosy glow of the sunset with just the abstract black lines to capture and surround it! Very nicely done zoom with the center in the upper right, and the black lines fading out evenly. Well seen.

Very mysterious and moody Faraaz. I like the dark, earthy colors and the abstract look - it could be many things and it's great to let your imagination fill in a storyline. I hope we see more of your image in OOTB!

Hi Faraaz, nice to see you here! We are glad to have you here in OOTB, where the possibilities are endless... Nice job with the zoom blur, this is not an easy technique and you did a nice job. I like how you cropped to move the center of the zoom out of the center of the image. Nice colors, starkly contrasted by the black tree silhouette. Well done! Hope to see you here often!

    Hey Guys,

Thanks a mil for your feedback! I don't know how I managed to get the zoom done with the centre perfectly on the rule of thirds spot, but that's how it happened. This is straight out of camera, no cropping at all.
