    Beautiful bird. Ornate plumage!
Excellent image. Could see another version with your shooting position a bit
further away to render the subject a bit smaller in the frame/with more dof....

Very nice indeed I like the pose and the neck feathers. This may sound a bit picky becasue the image is all about the bird but the rock is a little bit too eye catching for me, it has a kind of purple looking cast to it - was it that colour or is it reflected light?

    Hi Greg, small world.

Great depth in the plumage and the tail feathers have an almost 3D quality. Killer BKG and compliments the colour markings of the subject very well, gives lovely separation too. Like the inclusion of the habitat. The purple at the back makes for an interesting species.

The magenta cast in the rock works, for me, to complement the color in the bird's neck, and provides some distraction that the DOF didn't fully cover the tail (which one would not expect, with a pose like this).

Another beautiful shot of this bird, Excellent sharpness and beautiful bg. Nice eye contact. I don't like it as much as the masterpiece you posted of him earlier this week, but it's still top notch.

This is very nicely presented, love the head turn, vertical comp, perch, BG. The only thing I would do is to shorten or fully eliminate the lone stray grass stem along the top left of the rock. All else is fantastic to me.
