I will confess. I LOVE Antbirds!!! But unfortunately these little buggers are incredibly difficult to photograph. Denizens of the forest understorey they skulk about in the dark realms. The best chance is usually at an antswarm. This guy however was just hanging out in his territory. I was pretty happy with this one given the very difficult shooting conditions.
Hope you enjoy!

I think this is fantastic Glenn! Judging from your techs it appears the light was very difficult to handle, but you did a wonderful job. IQ is great, BG is very good, and your antbird picked out a nice sized perch. The BG does appear to have a couple strange spots in it in the URC and to the left of the bird's head? Could be natural, I'm definitely not the most eagle-eyed spotter of PP work. If I were you, I'd be thrilled to have a shot like this!
