    Default Great tit

Bean bag taken from garden hide, sunflower hears as bait, I actually put maggots out and all the birds except house sparrows disregarded them. The perch was from Scotland, unfortunately I don't get lichen like this in my garden.

    Hi Jonathan,
The IQ, exposure and BG are excellent.
Personally,I am not loving the moss/lichen and the way it is overpowering the bird and weighs the image down. To me, it looks staged.
I hope you don't mind me being candid.

Magnificent image of tit on beautiful perch. Very nice colors, details, backdrop and composition.
Love the well complimenting colors of BG to bird's colors.

    Regards,
    Satish.

    Nice shot.
Excellent pose, wonderful background, and nice details.
I'm not to fond of the grasses. Its just to much.
    Well done.

My first impression was that the lichen over powered the small bird. It would help a lotIMO if you crop it tighter, having less lichen in the frame.
The bird looks very nice, nice details and pose.

Hi Jon, love the angled pose, and yes, the light and exposure are tops. Yellows and blacks always go well together. With regards to only the sparrows eating the maggots, maybe the other birds werent hungry.

Thanks again everyone, it would appear y'all don't like the lichen too much, I did but that's me, another day and I might have said it was too much.
