    Default Streak-throated Woodpecker

    Here's a Mrs. Streak-throated Woodpecker.
Lighting conditions were nothing great shooting under the thick forest canopy, and shooting from from a jeep with 9 other moving people didnt help either

Magnificent image. I like the pose with nice HA,lights and backdrop.
I would prefer tight crop for this woodpecker. Would crop on top and LHS.

    Regards,
    Satish.

I like the BG, tree, sharpness of the bird. I do wish it had looked the other way, towards the open space. I'd also darken the blacks along the right edge as there seems to be something OOF that was in front of the tree.

I think this would be a terrific shot if you cropped tighter . There is too much space left and top.
You have a nice BG as well.
Thanks for showing me a new species,
    Gail
