what a fun image! Is it a large crop? I'm going out on a limb here, but I don't see much details.

Nice image here, have to agree with Loi on not being able to see details, fi this is a heavy crop, why not include more of the habitat, might just look better.

Hi Giovanni, if this is a crop then I would pull out and have more room all round, placing the bear more to the left. I feel that something is not quite right in the PP of the image and likewise if you have applied any NR to the image. However I do like the overall colours. Looking at the image I get the impression this was taken in Finland?

If you want to fwd the RAW via Dropbox I will gladly take a look to see if I can make any recommendations for you.

    Ciao Gio!

Looks like you have been having a good time, traveling again!

I like the concept here but I agree with Steve there is something not right in the PP here.

My guess is that in applying NR, the program settings have added quite a lot of sharpening as well, which is why the background trees look too sharp.

Perhaps there is more to it, but that would be my starting point.

    Best wishes,

    Gerald

No problem Gio. Best to use Dropbox, however I will be away just at the end of the month so really I will only have next week, but I guess you may not be in too much a hurry?

    Thanks Grald
    it is right.
I will start agin from raw file and avoid some mistake...But Angad said the right...is better a shoot in the habitat with more space .I will try to set both option with different shoot and then post again.
Off course I will post again also this shoot with better raw conversion

I like the scene and pose, Giovanni...but agree the clarity/detail is not there and it's a bit tight at the bottom.
Feel free to send the RAW file to Steve (I'd also take a crack at it)...
Good to see you posting again

Love the vertical lines, upright pose and the water drops. IQ is an issue as already pointed out. I would have pulled back on this one as the feet are too close to the bottom of frame. May have moved right a bit to avoid the strong coloured tree in the bg merging with the head. Love the colours of the environment - greys, greens and purples.

I really like this image. I don't mind the placement of the bear but a little more to left would be great too. I like all the vertical trees and how he thinks he's hiding behind one and I also like the dof and dimension in the image. As far as the pp goes. It just looks a little over sharpened to me
