Grey Tree pie
this is also known as a Himalayan Tree-pie , got this one on my trip north of India last month
It came for a bath in the afternoon and here its sitting just after the bath
5D M III + 400 f2.8 + 2x tc
1/200, f/8 , ISO 1000

I know the space behind the tail is very little and thats the amount of real estate i had, i was setup in here to click birds half this size when this guy came in and spent a minute in front of me i did not have enough time to remove the TC, as this was the first time i was seeing this bird in full view in my life.
Critique and comments are welcome

I like the wet look, eye detail and sharpness. Space behind the tail works nicely, not too tight IMO, nice work Vishaljadhav.

Hi Vishal, congrats on your first sighting and capture of this species, and one that I havent seen either. Interesting earthy colours on this fellow, and hope he enjoyed his bath. I do like your smooth BG.

Arthur Bhai I too never got the Pie
there are 6 species of treepies in Asia i guess, this is one of them .
I never could understand any logic on the naming conventions of these birds, i have seen 2 species of tree pies and they are the best thieves

Thanks bhai for the additional information. Good luck catching the four remaining thieves!
