I post quite a lot of these tiny birds because I have a place with very good access and they seem to not mind
my being around. They are fantastic little birds to observe during mating season with their calling and poses.

    Dan:

Agree with Jack, fine calling pose. The cat tail fuzz adds sig, as the perch otherwise is pretty bland.

    Full of personality.

    cheers

Hi Dan, excellent sharpness, and you have nailed the calling pose nicely. Good clean smooth BG, and I like your choice of comp.

    Dan,

The dynamic calling pose makes the image. Everything is super technically. Not much more to add!

I'd post lots of them too if they were this good. Best thing about the image? The soft light.

Love the classic wren pose and great sharpness. I might tone down the fuzzy stuff at the top of the frame. Well done!

Awesome! With the thin perch this time I don't mind it being on the other side of it :-) I love the bit of cattail fluff at top.

    Really nice shot Dan.
Is that a broken branch on the bottom?
