Congrats Satish ji for your 3000th post! Your images are a joy to watch! I like this one as well, beautiful bird, great colors and HA. Comp is a bit tight and you could remove the bluish cast on the perch & head.

What a beautiful bird, nicely captured. Great detail. Just a little tight for my taste. A few minor nits already noted. Congrats on your milestone; I have enjoyed your images for some time.

Hi Satish, congrats on your 3000 posts, and thank you for you valued participation on the site. Im sure you will go on to many more.

Lovely angled pose, and well exposed on the both the yellows and blacks. Seems like you were battling for light, so more DOF wasnt going to be possible. It also looks like you were quite close, so maybe stopping down wouldnt have helped that much. I would still try and sharpen his head if possible.

3000?? My, time flies! Thanks for your participation on BPN...

Beautiful subject. Apart form the whitish area behind the head the BG looks very nice. Thick perch, tough angle (steep?). Perfect head angle, and nice details, especially on the neck and shoulder which looks like where critical focus was on.

    Satish:

Congrats on your milestone, you have added a lot to BPN with your images and positive attitude!

Lovely bird, bit big in frame for my tastes, yes to focus point on shoulder, would darken the white area behind bill as mentioned.

    Looking forward to more!

    Cheers

Congrats on 3000, and thanks for all your contributions to the BPN community! Beautiful bird, but not a lot of light. DOF and SS are borderline (especially considering you were shooting hand held). I'm not crazy about the thick perch or the bright white spot behind the bird's head.

Mazel tov on 3K. Everyone above has noted the two main problems. I'd love this handsome bird on a natural perch.

    Hi Satish,
    Congrats on 3000 posts!
I don't usually read the posts previous to mine as I don't want to be influenced by what others have said but there were so many I did peek.
I feel that most issues have been addressed. I wish the whitish halo was not around the head and see a magenta cast on the branch and head.
Great HA and the yellows look good as well.
Thanks for being such an active BPN member,
    Gail
