    Default First Winter

    This one is a First Winter Male of the Ultra marine Flycatcher one of the smallest of the flycatchers in India, undertakes a big migration to reach our place , this year i did visit the breeding grounds of this bird too

    Was early morning at a stream

    f7.1 , 1/800, ISO 1000
    5D MIII + 400 f2.8 + 2x tc
    Exposure compensation -1/3

    Perfect exposure and fine detail, HA excellent, so is the BG.

    Excellent! I have a fondness for Flycatchers, and this one is a beauty! Gorgeous, complimentary BG, super sharp, nice perch....great all the way around!

    Nice image with a beautiful profile pose, details, colours, BG. I find the perch a tad thick and dull, but we can't always be choosy unless a species is easily lured onto specific perches....
