This is Sparks Lane in Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I've got several versions and this is a blend of two of them. I used Pixel Bender Oil Paint on one layer and the other layer had an Orton effect and Topaz Simplify and I blended them at about 50%. Cades Cove is so beautiful and although I got to the park entrance at 6:30 the morning I was there I wasn't lucky enough to have any fog or mist. I'm definitely planning on going back

What a great mood you created with your peocessing. Just super. I would love to see this with an old Model A Ford going down the path. I think that would be sweet.

I love the glowing look, rather Orton-ish, and the beautiful spring green colors. Makes me wish I was there right now!

Cheryl, I had to chuckle because Hazel had too much water vapor and you didn't have enough, at least for "optimal" conditions. I love the Orton effect and the lines of the road, just enough off-center to my eye. Definitely a nice painting.

The soft, green glow is beautiful. I really like the intertwining tree branches arching over road.
