    Default Prothonotary Warbler.

    Attached Images Attached Images

On Wednesday morning, the third day of our trip at Magee Marsh,
I started thinking about the Prothonotary Warbler we saw on the same day two years ago.
I told my wife;” I have a meeting with a good old friend today”.
“Is it the Prothonotary?” she said but I left her in suspense.
We were sitting on a bench close to the place we found the bird before.
At one point I felt I had to get up and turn around, so I did.
There he was, just flew in and landed on a thick horizontal branch.
“He is here” I said and my wife new exactly whom I was talking about.
    Thanks for looking.

I really like the singing pose and the nice clean BG. It is so hard to get a clean BG with warblers so well done!
I would sharpen the head a bit more as it seems critical focus was on the shoulder and not the head. What was your aperture?
I also see a slight magenta cast in the wing feathers and tail (easy fix)

Nice job photographing this reunion. Looks a little steep to me.

So that's your secret....you wish the bird to be there and it just is....must try that one Karl hehehe

Lovely shot and great clutter free image, looks like he's singing his little heart out for you there as well, rather nice backdrop....I wonder if the yellow is a tad strong and blown a little though

Apart the angle which looks a bit steep I'm really liking this image for the singing pose, colours, and soft BG.
