These two Cape Teals were just having a peaceful morning feeding off the water. Of course having a good reflection on the back Teal would have added a little more to the image, but swimming in the wake, it was never possible. Taken at my local pond in Pretoria.

Great looking little ducks and beautiful water and color. Love the feather etching on these ducks along with the colorful bills and eyes. Technically it your usual solid shot. Great detail on the lead duck and it has a nice reflection too. Nice work.
Looks like the kind of water I get my reflection shots at

Hi Stuart, I like the pano crop on this pair, colors, texture, smooth water reflection, and the V of the wake. Tranquility it is - very nice !

    Stuart:'

Attractive ducks with great eyes. Nice crop for this situation. Well exposed.

Obviously to maintain the reflection, you need to be up somewhat more than for normal shots. I do think a smidge lower would have held onto the reflection and helped strengthen the image.

    Cheers

The ducks look very nice, love the pattern and the eyes. I like your choise of crop and composition, Stuart. The blue water sets them off very nice.
