    Stopped by and visited my favorite owls in Cape Coral.
    Got a photo of breakfast. Oh how tasty.

    D800 : 600mm f4 Afs-D ii : TC-14e ii tele
    ISO 400, 850mm, f/6.3, 1/1250s
    WB adjustments in LR4, +blacks, +clarity with spot brush.

    Very nice image and BG. Lovely eye with good catch light. Perch is not ideal, but overall a nice image. Can you tell what he was eating?

    Nice light on this owl shot. I like the HA and the BG looks nice too. Not the most pleasing perch but what are you going to do. Techs look good too. I have been staring at the prey item for a few seconds now and cant really figure it out. Its either some kind of funky lizard or it looks more like a rolled in the dirty hatchling owlet? Nice capture

    remains of a frog, those are dangling legs.
    I have visited this little guy several times and he has a taste for frogs.
