I just can't get enough of this bird. I'm positive I could lay in the sand all day and take 64 GB worth of images. This particular one was taken two days ago near Little Estero Lagoon. He was putting on a show for me and I kept my focus on him. At one point, I stopped looking through the viewfinder and just watched. Did I mention I could do this all day? :)

Also, just saw that we can post 1200 px wide! So nice. I hope others notice and start taking advantage of this.
Quite a dynamic image Miguel. A very good look at the underside of those huge wings. Am I looking at a lagoon, sand strip, ocean? Whatever the fg is oof just the right amount and the bg is wonderful.
Hi Miguel, reddishes are a joy to watch and photograph and that's a great open-wing pose you capture. The image seems a little flat to me. I would like to suggest making a level adjustment- move the right slider over a bit to brighten up the image a bit and move the middle slider a touch to the right to darken the mid-tones. Nice image and thanks for sharing. ~Amy
Hi Miguel,
I,too, love these birds.
Great pose and nice low POV. I would dodge the head and neck a bit to increase exposure.
Nice layered BG,
I would take a bit off LHS but still lovely as presented.

THe low angle, raise foot and the spread wings highlight the image for me, nicely done.
The head angle makes it dynamic
if the IQ holds a version of it more closely cropped may be interesting to watch as it will give that head more prominence , just one way i see it
i still love the way its presented .
Artistic, dramatic, and endearing image, Miguel. I wouldn't have left before the bird departed either. I like the crop with plenty of room for this animated creature. This looks like theatre - a superb image !!
