    A reasonably common falcon across much of Australia.

    Dome very well getting this one out in the open and on a stick, I see them most of the time on barb wire fences. Impressed you got so close with that focal length. Lovely sharpness and especially the clear eye, background is very complimentary to the birds colorings

    Absolutely gorgeous bird and the BG is just so terrific and goes so well with your subject. If you have the canvas, you may wish to try a version of the bird a little less centered. You could try placing him a little more to the left giving him more room on the right to look into. I am seeing a tiny halo on top of the bird's head.

    Very nice...from the BG to the perch, and of course the subject! I wouldn't mind this fella a bit more to the left too.

    I think this is absolutely beautiful. Great perch, subject, and BG. I have to agree a little less centered could improve the image.

    Man thats a cool shot. Something about the head color that makes it stand out and look like a painting. The techs look great as do the details. Wonderful capture.
