Beautiful subject, light, and BG. IQ looks great. I really like the multilayered BG. Overall it's very nice. HA could be slightly better, I'd do a little water cleanup in the bottom right, and perhaps a little NR to the BG.

I was not so confident of cloning the grass bits in water without disturbing the pink reflection so left it like that, here is the version i tried cloning it Some NR applied to BG

Hi Vishal, your vertical comp works was the only way to go with this pose, although a little more space on the RHS and bottom wont harm. Well exposed on this fellow, and just love the pinks on him too. Im fine with the foliage LRC, but agree some NR on the BG will work.

PS. I was typing the same time you posted your repost. Good work on the foliage, although I didnt mind it, as is the NR. Well done.

Beautiful shot of a beautiful bird.
Excellent pose, great comp, wonderful background, and great shooting angle.
Im ok with either version. They are both terrific.
    Well done.

    Vishal,

I like the repost and I think you did a great job on the cloning. If you can, I would take Stuart's advice and add a bit to the bottom.

The pastel colors in the bg are killer, and I really like the layering effect.

I love the layered BG and the tack sharp head and body. It is so hard to get the little head of long necked birds tack sharp.
I am glad you cloned out the grasses in RLC.
    Lovely shot,
    Gail

I didn't actually mind the grass in the water, but the re post is as nice. Lovely clear shot and certainly a backdrop to be very pleased with, sits in the frame nicely....surprised nobody else has picked up on it, but some halo evident along the neck and back of the bird, maybe just my monitor possibly
