    Default Aerial Combat

Shot these 2 at the High Island Rookery. They had a pretty epic aerial fight. They went WAY up in the air. I had missed a couple other opportunities while shooting other birds on previous visits there, so I was happy to be able to finally capture a shot like this. Crop for comp. All C&C appreciated.

Hey Lyle, I changed the title for you so it appears correctly in the thread listing...

Neat interaction, lovely whites, love all the dangling feet! Comp-wise I'd be tempted to add top, left, and right and then crop about half the tree line below as the duo feels cramped close to the top edge. You must be happy with this one!

Wonderful shot Lyle, must be something that you're very proud of! Great freezing of the action here. Agree with Daniel's suggestion of adding canvas.

Cool action captured. I too would suggest room on top

    Lyle,

Love the interaction between the two. As Daniel mentioned, I would add a bit more to the left and right of the image.

    Very unique capture.
Excellent timing, exposed very well, and nice IQ.
    Well done.

Ditto Dan and all the positives. Love the bird on our left. Definitely a crop from the bottom and more canvas above and right at least.

Great idea on the crop. Totally agree. Thanks all for the feedback.

Well done Lyle. Love the action captured here and the birds are sharp and well exposed. Agree about the crop. Awesome!
