I am watching this little Night Heron grow up. See it almost every day and it hides in the mangroves most of the time.

Considering you shot this guy in the mangrove.........very well done on the BG. Maybe a hair more on right.........as toenail may be clipped....but overall it gives you a sense of the environment while focusing the attention on the bird.

Bill, Nice work getting the bird in the environment w/o a lot of clutter. One tweak on that would have been to move left and get the green leaf behind him. Head turn looks good on the bird and the eye is a really grabber.
