Taken at Ding Darling NWR this past Jan............I will be getting on James' boat soon! Canon 1D MArk 3 and the Sigma 300-800mm @ 800mm.......ISO 800 at f7.1 and 1/3200 sec. Left room for Artie and Alfred..........would have cropped off 1/3 of the BG......must resist temptation to use crop tool;):D! Took out a few bright/dust spots in water.
Couldn't get around for ideal sun angle.......and not enough pull upstairs to get change in wind direction !
As always, comments welcomed and appreciated,
    Roman

Cool landing pose and details. The light looks a bit harsh. Does it need a bit CCW rotation?

Great pose and sharpness, Roman. I must say, this is a pretty wide crop for you. :)

    Hi Roman,
Love the landing. Composition and exposure are good, like the details on the subject...:D
