What looks like an adult and baby are actually two adults (young ones do not get the "pied bill"...I've never seen such a size difference between two of them. The big one is "regular" sized for this species while the other was quite smaller than normal...and almost always leading. Made for a cute picture though!

Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4 TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/320s., f/6.3, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, cropped for composition (~75% FF), the little one had an additional round of sharpening to the face as it was just barely out of dof range.

The low POV and silky FG/BG make this a stunning shot. The size difference makes it fascinating -- hard to believe the little one is an adult. Great capture.

Great image Daniel! I like the low angle, HA's, composition, reflections, IQ and sweet colours. You must be loving that extra reach with the 500 and 1.4 combo.

It looks like an optical illusion.
Attractive color and your usual nice IQ.

Very nice shot Daniel. Almost looks like a mom and baby. Great detail and I especially like the BG and FG, they are very nice. Techs look great. I thought maybe a bit more off the top but when I tried it I liked it better in the original due to the nice gradient BG. Well done.
