Nest-building II

Here is another shot of the Great Egret couple building their nest. In contrast to my previous post, the female has stood up to meet the male and take hold of the branch he has brought to the nest. I cropped slightly, cloned out a branch that was in front of the birds, and reduced noise with Nik Dfine, and sharpened.

Canon 7D, 70 - 200mm f/4 lens at 121mm, 1/8000 s, f/4, ISO 640

I like the pose and interaction, and IQ. Nice to see them out in the open like that. They're so often behind branches where I get most chances to shoot them.
