    Here is what I call an "eyeball" shot taken at Disney Animal Kingdom in 2004.

    Hi Judy,

    This image belongs in the Avian, Captive and Hand Of Man forum, as is a captive bird. With that said, the image looks a little underexpose and it could be a hair sharper. With that said, I think you did well with the composition.

    I took the liberty of working with your image. I thought that I'd try a different composition just to give you another look. Then I did a small amount of sharpening, levels and converted to sRGB for the web. I was just working with the jpg so it could be even better starting with the original. I have always liked the images of the bird with the eye and like this one.

    This turned out nice. It's always amazing how something as simple as composition can make such a difference. The head is sharp.....just peaking out behind those feathers. Well done.
