    Default Roseate Spoonbill

Taken at Ft. DeSoto where 3 Spoonbills and 3 Egrets were feeding. This 'puddle' was no more than 10 feet long and 5 feet wide, but this Spoonbill stayed in it for more than an hour barely lifting it's head.

    Ramon:

The breeding colors are top notch here, doesn't get much better on that score!

Sharp, well exposed, nice to see the feeding action.

The BG is a bit drab, but having the bird fairly large in the frame reduces its impact.

Glad you had such a nice opportunity!

    Cheers

Hello Ramon, nice job on exposure, color, and detail. The water droplets really convey the sense of action. Well done!

Great exposure, the colors are perfect. Sharp, the prey looks like a shrimp.

excellent details on the spoonie, I would leave more room in the bottom for virtual feet. BG was not the best but I like the open bill and water drops.

I like the exposure, colourful bird, prey and sharpness. A little tight in the frame but fine as presented. Well done Ramon.

Super catch of the action here. I'd take from the top and add to the bottom as the top is not pretty, the bottom is, and you need some more room for the virtual legs. Face could be a bit brighter. I love the details, colors, and sheen on the bird's back.

Lovely colors on this spoonie, and you did so well with your exposure and getting the flip! I would like to see more room on the bottom and maybe less on top if that's possible. I find the blue of the water more attractive against the spoonie than the sand, and it would also help with the virtual feet.
