    Lovely open beak here Ken, good to see some African species here. Would like to see some more space all round with the tail included. If possible, a portrait crop would work well.

    Hi Ken,
    I like that you used the dead tree as a compositional element. As Kirsten mentioned a vert comp would have allowed you to get the tail in and strenghtened it even more than it already is.

    You've got a nice pose here with good sharpness! I agree with the suggestion regarding the crop. I believe you could bring out some of the detail in the tail using Shadows and Highlights in PS. I might also lighten the iris a little.
