Ewan's 1st Birthday
My wee boy Ewan turned one on April 15th so we celebrated the day with a visit to the Vancouver Aquarium with Granny and Grampa. The Beluga whales wee the biggest hit and he didn't think too much of the noisy energetic dolphins which gave him a fright when they jumped out of the water in front of him. Here he is peering through the glass.

So the pool in the back garden is finally finished then, like the glass curtain, nice feature.Looks like next year he can come skiing with us then.

My grandson love the aquarium, looks your wee boy does too.

Cheers John, the little guy seems to really enjoy wildlife and nature so I guess I'll have a companion one day for a future Katmai trip. Maybe I'll wait until he is old enough to realise he can't ride the bear or pull at it's fur.
